Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to provide students with the relevant and detailed information about the main principles of financial management and to develop the ability of students in making financial decisions in a risky environment of business life. To achieve this purpose the students will be able to use various methods which are useful for making decisions about capital structure, working capital and investment projects.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • To have knowledge about basic principles of financial management
  • To evaluate the financial decisions of firms by using net present value of and internal rate of return methods
  • To perform analysis on performance of firms by using ratios based on financial analysis
  • To evaluate the performance of the firms by using breakeven and leverage analysis
  • To make the renewal investment decisions
  • To analyze and make decisions on net working capital
  • To have knowledge about the factors affecting dividend payout decisions
Course Content Having the relevant and detailed information about the financial management, the students will be able to use various methods which are useful for making financial decisions such as capital structure, working capital and investment projects. The students will also be able to analyze and evaluate the performance of the companies.
