Course Objectives The purpose of this course is to provide students with the relevant and detailed information about the main principles of financial management and to develop the ability of students in making financial decisions in a risky environment of business life. To achieve this purpose the students will be able to use various methods which are useful for making decisions about capital structure, working capital and investment projects.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • will be able to explain the basic principles of financial management
  • will be able to evaluate the financial decisions of firms by using net present value of and internal rate of return methods
  • will be able to perform analysis on performance of firms by using ratios based on financial analysis
  • will be able to evaluate the performance of the firms by using breakeven and leverage analysis
  • will be able to make the renewal investment decisions
  • will be able to analyze and make decisions on net working capital
  • will be able to have knowledge about the factors affecting dividend payout decisions
Course Description Having the relevant and detailed information about the financial management, the students will be able to use various methods which are useful for making financial decisions such as capital structure, working capital and investment projects. The students will also be able to analyze and evaluate the performance of the companies.

To be able to define the historical development process, fundamental principles, and theories of Radio and Television Programming, and explain the basic principles of audio-visual storytelling.

To be able to utilize technical equipment and software requiring expertise in the field of Radio and Television Programming according to contemporary techniques.

To be able to describe the pre-production research of an audio-visual work, scriptwriting, production planning, camera usage, sound recording, lighting setup, and post-production editing design at a fundamental level and apply at least one of them at an advanced level.

To be able to apply standard video shooting and sound recording indoors and outdoors within the scope of a production in teamwork.

To be able to explain the national and universal values, professional and ethical principles, and legal regulations required in radio-television broadcasting.
